Fit Friday! : Pumpkin Protein Shake

Welcome to Fit Friday!

Who doesn’t love a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks right? But wouldn’t you rather enjoy a delicious treat, that was also good for you? Arbonne’s protein powders have amazing benefits! They are made of Vegan protein and are formulated without :

– Cholesterol
– Soy
– Dairy

Just to name a few. The protein is derived from Brown Rice, Yellow Pea and Cranberry! Below is a recipe for a delicious shake (keep in mind, you can use any kind of vanilla protein powder… just try to steer clear of Whey proteins.

Ingredients Needed :

  • 2 scoops Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree (or less if you are trying to lose weight and plan on drinking this regularly)
  • 1 tbsp of pecans (or other nut of your choice…or omit altogether)
  • pumpkin pie spice to taste
  • ice cubes

For this shake, I would put the ice, pumpkin puree and pecans first and chop a bit. Then I would add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth! YUM! This is a great meal replacement.
